The Mother of All Slingmeets

She’s a’coming and she’s going to be a biggun.

Where: Parliament House, Canberra (Australia)

When: 7th September, 2009, 11:30 am.

Why: It’s Homebirth Australia’s rally.

It turns out that a lot of babywearers are either homebirthers or supportive of a woman’s right to birth at home. Many of us are going. Are you coming too?

wooo hooo – will be there with babes on!!

  2. I’m going to be there 🙂
Won’t have my babies strapped on as they’re normally in care so I can work on Mondays. But will try to remember to wear a BCD badge along with my protest rally t-shirt.

I’ve been hearing from a few babywearers who plan on going to this rally and want to meet up with others. People are coming from as far as Perth, Darwin, and Brisbane! So if you do see someone with a baby in a sling or carrier, say hello. You never know, they might be a fellow reader of the same babywearing blogs and forums as you 🙂
