		<description>Hi. Thanks for the great post and for the link to my blog. I&#039;ve traveled extensively with small children and never used a stroller in the airport. If we took one on vacation at all (which I think I only did once out of about a dozen trips), we checked it with our bags.

When my babies were still under the weight limit for the bassinet, we always requested one. I used it primarily while I was eating with a happy awake baby playing in it. We always ensured that one of us (luckily we always traveled as a couple) stayed awake if we couldn&#039;t put the baby in the bassinet to sleep. 

With an older baby, I did use a sling to sleep on the airplane. But that was when my babies were big enough that their heads were not in the sling and were more up on my upper chest/shoulder. The sling was there just to keep their body from sliding off of my lap if I fell asleep.</description>
