Hi!

I'm new to this forum, so thought I'd just post to say hi.

I have recently taken over Frangipani Baby (from Sarah, if you remember Frangipani Baby), selling slings and carriers online - so Frangipani Baby is back and up and running again! It's very exciting to have the opportunity to carry on where Sarah left off, and also to be able to keep such a lovely business going, rather than letting it die out.

I'm also a mother of one carried baby, and was carried myself as a baby. My grandmother had a carrier in the '50s too, so I guess you could say that it's in the blood!

Now that I'm connecting with some other babywearers I'm really keen to know about other peoples' experiences... what's your favourite carrier and why? what other carriers have you tried? We have used an ergo almost exclusively, mostly because that's what was recommended by some friends, but I have more recently discovered that there are so many options out there, and I'm starting to experiment a little more as much as I can (my son is now 2) with ring slings, pouches and wraps. Mind you, we have found the ergo pretty awesome, certainly no complaints.

Thanks!

Hi Kylie,

You can join our Google Group (link above) and once approved you can browse our For Sale or Trade listing there for second-hand carriers.

Cheers,

Hi Ann,
I haven't tried it personally but if you join our Google Group via the link the Forum page above, there may be others in the group who have tried it. The photo of Nicole Kidman wearing it on the website looks way too big and the baby worn way too low though, so if you get one, my advice is check the sizing carefully. The baby bum should end up around or above your belly button level for optimal position comfort-wise.

Hi I have just found a Serena and Lily Sling on the Natures Child website, they look amazing.
Has anyone used them and what are they like or has anyone heard anything bout them?
